So you're interested in learning music? I can help you with that, from instrumental lessons to theory and aural as well as exam/audition preparation. Currently I am studying a Bachelor or Music on classical saxophone and I have extensive experience in doubling on flute and clarinet. My teaching history includes positions as an instrumental teacher in schools (primary and secondary), private students, instructor at music camps and development bands and general mentoring in community ensembles.
I am offering saxophone lessons from beginners to advanced (AMEB preliminary to 6. Grades are a guide, not prerequisites. Don't worry if you have no idea what they are.)
I encourage you to try music, no matter your age or reservations. No doubt you've heard about the benefits to your brain playing a musical instrument has but it is also a wonderfully all round activity: challenging, enriching, socially connecting, spiritual and enjoyable.
To the adult learners: it is so saddening to talk to people and they say things like "Oh, I wish I played a musical instrument as a kid" or "Yeah, I played a bit in school but I gave it up and I wish I kept going". Now is your chance to have a go, it is definitely not too late!
Let's get those instruments and positive attitudes out and make some music!
